-Assign the employees of housekeeping and laundry their duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
-Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action.
-Obtain list of room to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check out or discharge to prepare work assignments
-Conduct orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment
-Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies
-Perform cleaning duties in case of emergency or staff shortage
-Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff
-Screens job applicants, hires new employees, and recommends promotions, transfers, and dismissals;
-Assist the accountant to purchase cleaning and laundry supplies
-Be on call 24hrs in case of emergency
-Highschool diploma or equivalent.
-5 years-experience in the housekeeping or related professional area
-Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
-Good English
-Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays subject to rota and willingness to extend of change hours and days of work from time to time upon request and subject to operational requirement.
